Most often I like to write about the truth of God, and on topics that help people to see the opportunities we all for a better life.  I try to encourage folks because life has a way of distracting us from what we have, if we're not careful. 

God has been good to all of us, and even though everyone faces difficulties and hardships, we don't have to walk a path of dark despair for the rest of our lives.  Take advantage of sunny days, blue skies, or for that matter, rainy days and heavy clouds.  Every day and every hour is an opportunity for choosing a good direction for our feet.

But every now and then...

I also like to write things that are just for fun.  And sometimes I like to write things that some consider spooky or whatever.  As a child I used to sit up late on Friday nights in Houston, Texas, and watch TV shows like Weird and other things. 

These programs were often cheaply made or else they featured some old horror flick.  And I would get plenty scared before trying to go to bed and go to sleep.  But next Friday night, I would be right back at the old TV set, waiting impatiently for the next scary program.

Here is a small collection of things I've written just for amusement.  They amuse me if no one else.  You might enjoy them, as well.  I hope so.  Life is too short to have no fun at all.
